C’è una domanda che viene naturale da porsi per chiunque, nel momento in cui si pensi realisticamente ad un complotto a livello governativo come quello sospettato dalle teorie alternative: “Con le centinaia, se non migliaia, di persone che debbono per forza essere state coinvolte, come è possibile che nessuno parli, e che tutti mantengano il segreto per sempre, senza nessuna eccezione?”

Prima di tutto, bisogna vedere se davvero servano “centinaia” di persone per portare a termine un’operazione del genere - ne bastano sicuramente molto meno, collocate al posto giusto - ma qualunque fosse il numero, tutti costoro non parlerebbero comunque, visto che sono gli stessi che hanno voluto prendere parte a quell’operazione. (Come si può pensare che una banda di ladri, qualunque sia il suo numero, taccia per sempre dopo aver effettuato il colpo? Perché è interesse di ciascuno farlo). E se mai a qualcuno venisse il rimorso, vi sono degli ottimi “incentivi” per farglielo passare immediatamente.

Quelli pericolosi sono piuttosto quelli che non ne sapevano nulla - i cosiddetti “buoni” - e vengono per caso ad imbattersi in qualche dettaglio che gli fa capire cosa davvero è successo. Possiamo fare l’esempio di un qualunque pompiere del Pentagono, che avrebbe visto chiaramente se il Boieng c’era oppure no, fino all’agente dell’FBI che scopre qualcosa che non doveva scoprire.

A questo punto però, prima di domandarsi “perché non parlano?”, bisognerebbe essere sicuri che noi saremmo in grado di sentirli, se lo facessero. Basta davvero che un pompiere vada alla CNN per raccontare quello che ha visto sul prato del Pentagono, perché la sua intervista venga subito diffusa in diretta mondiale?

In realtà, di persone che hanno parlato ce ne sono eccome - e sono tutte  persone di una certa importanza: ministri americani ed esteri, generali, analisti della CIA, politici, persino un ex-direttore dell’FBI, ecc. - ma per qualche motivo noi non siamo mai riusciti a sentirli.

Chi controlla i media oggi controlla il mondo, e se non ci fosse Internet noi non sapremmo nemmeno che un problema 11 settembre esiste.

Ho creduto alla spiegazione ufficiale del 11/9 per quattro anni e mezzo. Ricordo, durante quel periodo, di infuriarmi davanti alle notizie di persone che mettevano in discussione quella spiegazione che ci era stata data. Tuttavia, nella primavera del 2006, ho visto il documentario Loose Change, su Internet. Sebbene non fosse un documentario completamente obiettivo, ha sollevato molti dubbi seri e preoccupanti riguardo agli eventi dell’11/9, che in precedenza avevo semplicemente accettato senza molto pensiero critico.

E così ho cominciato un lungo periodo di ricerca sugli eventi dell’11/9. Ho trovato una gran quantità di materiale che metteva in discussione il Rapporto della Commissione sul 9/11 in siti web come 911truth.org, physics911.net, st911.org e molti altri. Ho assistito ad una conferenza di David Ray Griffin. Ho imparato molto da quel che poi è diventato noto come il Movimento per la Verità sull’11/9.

Molte delle informazioni e della maggior parte della copertura mediatica assai limitata riguardo al Movimento per la Verità sull’11/9, è concentrata sui professori universitari, come: David Ray Griffin, Steven Jones, James Fetzer, Kee Dewdney, e altri. Nell’agosto del 2006, ho cominciato a cercare le dichiarazioni sull’11/9 da parte dei membri dei servizi d’intelligence, militari e di governo. Data la loro esperienza in questi settori, sentivo che le loro considerazioni sull’11/9 sarebbero state una preziosa fonte aggiuntiva di informazioni. Sono rimasto colpito dall’ammontare di critiche riguardo all’11/9 da parte di questo gruppo che ho trovato sparso intorno alla rete. Non avevo riscontrato praticamente nessuna di queste critiche nelle fonti giornalistiche, televisive, o radiofoniche.

Sento che queste informazioni sono molto importanti e che sono state gravemente comunicate insufficientemente. Questo sito web raccoglie gli sforzi nel cercare di raccogliere e riassumere queste dichiarazioni pubbliche e renderle facilmente accessibili.

Non pretendo di sapere cosa sia realmente successo l’11/9. Non posso esaminare la realtà diretta dei fatti. E non ho l’esperienza necessaria per comprendere ciò che è possibile e ciò che è improbabile riguardo alle attività terroristiche o alle operazioni militari. Per quel tipo di analisi, ho bisogno di far affidamento sugli esperti. Tengo in grande considerazione le dichiarazioni di queste persone perché la maggior parte di queste ha speso gran parte della propria carriera nello studio dello spionaggio, del terrorismo, e delle operazioni militari in ogni parte del mondo e hanno progettato ed eseguito in prima persona attività militari e di intelligence per gli Stati Uniti. In altre parole, sono professionisti esperti, nei quali ho fiducia.

Il mio obiettivo, a questo punto, è quello di vedere il nostro governo dare inizio ad una nuova inchiesta, estremamente completa ed imparziale, sui terribili atti dell’11/9 e sugli eventi da loro scaturiti. Secondo la mia opinione, e secondo l’opinione delle persone competenti elencate sopra, l’attuale Rapporto della Commissione sul 11/9 è gravemente inadeguato nella spiegazione di ciò che realmente è successo.

Ho semplicemente ricercato e compilato delle informazioni pubbliche disponibili su Internet.
